The highest quality of medical, nursing and rehabilitative care is provided in a more home-like environment and, to the extent possible, is planned around your preferences and “normal” routines. You can decide such things as what time to get up or go to bed, when you want to take your bath or shower, when and what you want to eat, including helping yourself to snacks any time of day or night. We have a full time doctor who is Board certified in Geriatrics and Internal Medicine whose sole responsibility is your health and the health of your fellow members in Park Springs. Your benefit is easy access to your doctor and wellness programs designed to keep you healthy and independent. Should your health needs change, the same doctor will oversee and direct your care.

Our on-site clinic staffed by our own full time Licensed Nurse Practitioner makes routine check ups, tests and lab work as almost easy as picking up your mail. She continually collaborates with our on-site Geriatrician to manage the health of our Members. Most of us can live independently to an advanced age with a little bit of help. Our home care staff is employed directly by our communities, licensed by the state, bonded and insured only after undergoing strict screening processes which include criminal background checks, physicals, drug screening and competency evaluations. Whether you need a little extra help as you are recuperating or need 24 hours a day assistance in your home, our caring staff can be there for you.

Our community provides on site rehabilitation (physical, occupational and speech therapy) in our Cobblestone therapy center, our therapy pool or your home. So if you should return from a hospital stay your rehab no matter the duration is all facilitated on campus.

Our doctor, clinic and skilled care are all Medicare certified so that you may take advantage of the Medicare insurance benefits that you have paid in for. Even if you don’t qualify for skilled nursing services we will work with a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency so that you may take advantage of your Medicare plan.

Through our clinic we even arrange to have your medications delivered on site. If you choose our geriatrician as your primary care doctor she and our nurse practitioner ensure that you are educated and able to manage your medications.

You may have or later develop special dietary needs. Our community offers a full time registered dietician to work with our food service staff to see that your special needs are meet.

Unfortunately studies show that up to 30% of seniors return to the hospital within 30 days because proper post acute care has not been properly arranged. We take a proactive approach and when a member is hospitalized our healthcare services coordinator initiates a visit to every member within 24 to 48 hours of admittance to the hospital to ensure that the proper services will be available upon discharge.
