Access to private on-site health services will be one of the important differences between Peachtree Hills Place and other communities. The security, value and trust our Members are looking for go beyond their personal safety. It extends to their health and wellness, too. Here, a Medicare-certified clinic headed by a doctor trained as a geriatrician will be located in the Clubhouse. The geriatrician, a nurse practitioner and registered nurses will be available five days a week. You won't find better assisted living in Atlanta.

When health needs change, support and assistance will be available at The Terraces, the on-site health center where Members will be able to receive skilled nursing and memory care. In addition, a range of services including home health assistance and assisted living will be available within Members' residences.

The physician will have on-call coverage 24 hours a day when he/she is not on site. Together with the rest of the staff at Peachtree Hills Place, our physicians will be proactive in helping you achieve your wellness goals.

Our Wellness Clinic will be led by a Board Certified Geriatrician and a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. This medical practice will be available to all members and will be open 5 days a week. In addition to providing medical care, the clinic will provide education, health monitoring and promotion (such as blood pressure and immunization clinics).

Our Home Care Department will be available to provide you in-home assistance with activities of daily living on an as needed basis up to and including 24 hours a day support. It will be supervised by a licensed registered nurse and will have registered nurses, practical nurses, and nursing assistants available 24 hours a day seven days a week.

The Terraces

The Terraces at Peachtree Hills Place is being thoughtfully designed to provide an environment that is conducive to healthy living. The Terraces will provide three levels of specialized nursing care: short term rehabilitation, long-term care, and a memory care unit for people with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias.

Each Member will have a private suite that will include a foyer for additional privacy. Suites will be arranged in a home-like setting with a common living room and dining room for six. Meals will be prepared in each household so that Members can enjoy the aromas and participate in the preparation if they choose.This state-of-the-art, Member-centered, home like environment will more fully-enable healing and quality of life. The nursing staff will be trained in the Member-centered model and the level of staffing will be three times more than is required by state or federal regulation. Upon opening, The Terraces will be the only Medicare-certified health center in Atlanta.
