Dr. Roger Landry's Ten Strategies for Successful Aging are a formula for making the most of your retirement years. 2. KEEP MOVING: As we age, physical activity is a major factor in maintaining independence. Members can choose to partake in 30 minutes or more of activity each day through our fitness center, and swimming pool.
3. CHALLENGE YOUR MIND: Remarkable benefits stem from lifelong learning –including reducing the risk of developing dementia. Peachtree Hills Place will offer cultural programs, a library, Internet access and on-site classes to keep Members' minds active and learning new things.
4. STAY CONNECTED: There will be countless ways to stay connected at Peachtree Hills Place. Trips, social hours, evenings out, clubs and a recreation center will offer a wide variety of social opportunities.
5. LOWER YOUR RISKS: At Peachtree Hills Place, the importance of working with physicians to identify and eliminate health risks will be encouraged. Our Members will have access to periodic health-related events such as cholesterol screenings and health fairs, so they stay informed about all the facts related to senior wellness.
