Peachtree Hills Place Wins Gold at NAHB’s Best of 50+ Housing Awards

ATLANTA – The Peachtree Hills Place clubhouse received Gold recognition at NAHB’s Best of 50+ Housing Awards. Winners were announced Tuesday, May, 20 at NAHB's Boomers and Beyond Conference. Peachtree Hills Place won Gold in the 'Active Adult Housing: Clubhouse Interior Design "On the Boards" Large' category. Isakson Barnhart Co., developers of Peachtree Hills Place, partnered with Foley Design Associates to design the interior and exterior of the luxurious clubhouse.

"Our clubhouse would not have received this award without the hard work of Bill Foley and his talented team at Foley Design Associates," said E. Andrew (Andy) Isakson, Managing Partner of Isakson-Barnhart Co. "This award recognizes the creativity, diligent work and dedication put into the clubhouse and we are very proud of this recognition."

The clubhouse for Atlanta active adults at Peachtree Hills Place is designed in the English Arts and Crafts style to create a sense of permanence, familiarity and security and although new, the atmosphere is one of history and tradition. The clubhouse is comprised of two levels of community activities, services, and support functions, and three levels of residential apartments. The clubhouse includes elegant ballrooms, community meeting space, a chapel, spa, member conference room and billiard and poker rooms.

The clubhouse also houses the four primary dining rooms for the community. Two of the dining rooms feature vaulted ceilings and cast stone, while the other two feature beam-and-coffered ceilings, and intimate dining nooks that create a cozy atmosphere for Atlanta active adults. All four dining rooms have been designed with beautiful stone fireplaces.

When completed, Peachtree Hills Place, located in Buckhead in the heart of metro Atlanta, will include 274 independent residences – consisting of 266 villas and eight single-family homes – and 36 skilled nursing and memory care suites. Assisted living care will also be offered on site. All Peachtree Hills Place members will enjoy a full slate of amenities, on-site retail establishments, dining, full service spa, and fitness center.
