Envisioning your life at Peachtree Hills Place is easy. We know you’re looking forward to a brand new home in the best Buckhead location with new amenities, things to do and neighbors you’ve come to love.
But we also understand getting there can be the hardest part. Moving from one home to another is challenging, to say the least, but we want to help make your move as easy as possible.
Our move management program is rare and something we’re dedicated to providing all of our new members. Below is our 5-part program that will help assist in this downsizing and moving process.
1. Move Consultation Kick-Off
Julie Corsini, a member of our move management team, will meet with you to access your overall level of downsizing and moving needs.
During this initial visit, you will Complete a Questionnaire that will:
- Help us prepare an overall move-in schedule for our members
- Let us know if you are selling your home before your move, or after.
If at all possible, move first, taking what is going to Peachtree Hills Place, then sell later.
Receive Your Move In Kit
This is full of great tips and tricks to help with the downsizing process including stickers for Keep, Family, Donate and Sell.

We are not going to leave you hanging! Your move consultant will continue to meet with you throughout next year to ensure the process of downsizing is underway and you’re doing your homework.
2. Homework
Now it’s time to put that Move In Kit to work. Use those stickers to decide what you’re taking with you, selling, donating or giving to family.
Your Move In Kit also includes Peachtree Hills Place recommended resources to help you with specific needs like:
- Where to sell items
- How to deliver/ship items to family members
- How and where to donate items
- How to get rid of trash other items
Selena Says: Keep in mind that you do have a 6×8 foot storage unit in your parking garage.
3. Regular Home Visits
A Peachtree Hills Place move consultant will visit your home on a regular basis to make sure you’re getting things done according to your move timeline. We’ll be checking on:
- Problems that have come up throughout the process and how we can help
- Floorplan for furniture placement in your Peachtree Hills Place home
- Selecting the best resources for your needs
- And more
4. In-House Move Scheduler Coordination
Your move consultant will work closely with our in-house scheduler on planning your closing and move date. The move-in schedule will be based on several variables.
- Completion of your building
- Your readiness to move
- The volume of work you’re doing to your unit after closing
We will be working with several moving companies and will help you select the best company for your needs. It is very important to select a company that we have consulted with and feel confident in their ability to execute this large volume of moves.
We also strongly recommend that the move company you choose packs and unpacks your things to ensure it is completed in a less stressful and timely manner.
5. Move-In
Our move consultants will check in on the packing and unpacking of your home to make certain the appropriate measures are being taken to ensure a smooth move.
