Only 2 miles down the road from Peachtree Hills Place, Buckhead’s historic Bobby Jones Golf Course is undergoing a massive renovation. The 1932 course was built as a tribute to famous Atlanta golfer Bobby Jones and is set to reopen in fall 2018.
The first phase of the project will include a reversible nine-hole course, a driving range, indoor instruction area and short game practice area. The new facility will also include practice ranges for college teams such as Georgia State, a renovation to the historic clubhouse and a museum dedicated to Bobby Jones which will be named the Georgia Golf House.
The new and improved course brings excitement to Peachtree Hills Place members who are looking to golf closer to home. Additionally, the current Bobby Jones Clubhouse will be renovated and used as a chamber music venue providing even more anticipation for members. These renovations provide great benefits, athletically and culturally, to our members while continuing to inspire the active lifestyle Peachtree Hills Place strives to provide.
