Construction Update: December 2018

Site – The sidewalks along Virginia and Peachtree Hills have been completed on Tract III. Fire, water, and domestic water have been completed on site in all locations, and the fire hydrants have been pressure tested. The hardscapes at the Peachtree Hills entrance and around the clubhouse and pool have begun and will be ongoing for the coming months.

Clubhouse/Lodge – The last hollow core structural decks have been placed, and the structural CFS will be completed by the end of the month. Structural light gauge trusses have begun on the clubhouse, and the roofing will follow their completion. Interior light gauge framing has begun on the first floor of units and will be completed at the end of the month. Exterior sheathing is being completed, and windows are being set.

Pool Building – Exterior framing and the overhang structure are ongoing. Following this, we will begin storefront windows and the excavation of the pool.

Austin Walk I – The structural metal roof trusses have been completed, roofing has begun, and infill framing has begun. Electrical, plumbing and HVAC rough-in have been completed on the first floor and will be ready for drywall upon completion of the roofing. Mechanical rough ins have progressed on to the second floor. Exterior sheathing has been completed, and windows have been installed on all but the top floor. The stone finish has begun on the parking deck floor.

Austin Walk II – Structural CFS framing has been completed and is ready for the structural metal trusses to begin in January. Infill framing has been completed on the third floor and is progressing on the fourth floor after the trusses have been completed. Electrical, mechanical and plumbing rough-in is ongoing on the first floor.

Austin Walk IV – Structural steel has been completed, and the structural CFS walls have been completed. At the end of the month, the hollow core decking will begin, with concrete walls and topping slabs following. In the coming month the insulation of the parking deck and mechanical rough-in will begin.
