Current Isakson Living CFO Dave Wahn will assume new Chief Investment Officer role.
ATLANTA, April 24, 2025 – Senior living industry leader Isakson Living today announced the appointment of a new chief financial officer and chief investment officer. Eric Bryan has been named to the CFO role previously held by Dave Wahn, who will now serve as Isakson Living’s chief investment officer. The addition of Bryan underscores Isakson Living’s dedication to building a strong leadership team equipped to navigate the evolving senior living landscape. To facilitate a smooth transition, Bryan and Wahn will work in tandem through year end.
“With a 90+ year history in Atlanta, and strong ties to both residential and commercial real estate, Isakson Living has successfully transformed the future of life plan communities,” said Isakson Living founder, Managing Partner and President Andy Isakson. “The combination of hiring Eric and redefining Dave’s role comes at a pivotal time as Isakson Living looks at opportunities for expansion and deepens our commitment to innovation in aging services.”
As CFO, Bryan will be charged with managing the finance team, developing financial strategy and directing operations. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience, specifically overseeing the growth of a family-owned business from $30 million to $300 million while progressing through every role in corporate accounting and finance, ultimately serving as chief financial officer. During his tenure, he modified procedures and permissions to maintain best in- class internal controls through high-growth periods; enhanced the financial education of revenue and cost center managers to improve management quality and financial performance across the organization; and developed effective cash forecasting procedures providing actionable insights to key decision makers within the organization.
“I am thrilled to join Isakson Living at such a critical and exciting juncture,” said Bryan. “Isakson Living is not only redefining the senior living experience; it is raising the bar for what modern aging should look like. I am energized by the vision, the leadership team, and the opportunity to help scale a business that makes a real impact in people’s lives.”
In his newly elevated role of chief investment officer, Wahn will oversee all investment strategy, real estate development, and capital deployment, guiding the company’s continued expansion in the senior housing sector. As CIO, he will be responsible for evaluating new development opportunities, structuring and executing joint ventures, managing the company’s investment portfolio, and researching and analyzing market trends and economic conditions. Wahn will also play a key role in long-term strategic planning by aligning capital allocation with company growth objectives while ensuring financial sustainability and operational excellence.
“This is a unique moment of opportunity in the senior living industry and I look forward to working with Eric to continue to deliver continued financial stability for Isakson Living’s communities,” stated Wahn. “This transition also allows me to focus full-time on expanding our investment platform and advancing our long-term strategic priorities and growth.”
