Isakson Living, Atlanta-based developer, announced it will move forward with developing Peachtree Hills Place. Isakson Living and Foley Design Associates Architects will be refining the plans for the south Buckhead community over the next several months.
Peachtree Hills Place, a luxury residential community offering a full continuum of care, was first introduced in 2006 and sold very well. However, in 2009, the development of the 20+acre site in the historic and desirable Peachtree Hills neighborhood was put on hold during the recession that greatly affected the U.S. housing market.
According to Andy Isakson, Managing Partner of Isakson Living: “Since 2009, no new housing options have been developed in this area that include the amenities, services and continuum of care that we will offer at Peachtree Hills Place. We are excited to be moving forward with the project and appreciate the long-standing positive support of the surrounding neighborhood and of future residents.”
More than 150 interested buyers originally reserved a home at Peachtree Hills Place, including Cissy Smith and Jane and Larry Hailey. Many of the initial buyers, along with 40 new prospective buyers already on the priority list, look forward to reserving a new home in this prestigious and centrally located community. “I am so excited to hear that Peachtree Hills Place is under development!” says Smith. “I have believed in this project from the beginning and really have not considered going anywhere else.”
“This will be a wonderful community in a perfect location. I can’t wait!” adds Jane Hailey, who is eager to share the plans for Peachtree Hills Place’s luxury retirement lifestyle and outstanding amenities with her friends.
The amenities of Peachtree Hills Place will include a clubhouse with multiple dining venues, a fitness center and a health center. The first phase of development will include 84 luxury condominiums and 8 custom single-family homes. The condominiums at Peachtree Hills Place will include 1, 2 and 3 bedroom plans ranging in size from 1,400+ square feet to more than 3,000 square feet. Upon completion, there will be 192 condominiums and 12 single family homes. Services include security, transportation, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing. Pre-sales will commence in 2016.
Hans Bendeck, former president of the Peachtree Hills Civic Association (PHCA), applauds the development of Peachtree Hills Place, as did the PHCA members when they heard Isakson Living’s news at their recent annual meeting. From the first planning stage of Peachtree Hills Place, the neighborhood association has worked with the developer to zone the property for a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). Bendeck points to the minimal traffic impact, the attractive, low profile buildings and the pocket parks that are part of the design plan. “The neighborhood is committed to the success of Peachtree Hills Place and has remained supportive of getting Peachtree Hills Place up and running; this outstanding project is a welcomed addition to our neighborhood.”
