Xan Payton joins our Peachtree Hills Place family as our Culinary Services Director. In Xan’s role, she will work closely with the Executive Chef and Leadership Team on the Independent Living Culinary Dining Program, and also Culinary Services for the Terraces. Xan’s most recent accomplishments include working as a Chef for the Georgia World Congress Center Authority at many high profile events throughout Atlanta, and the country. She also spent time as a traveling Chef reorganizing Culinary Services programs when new clients were acquired through the Food Services provider.
Xan was involved in many wonder events such as the College Football Playoffs, Super Bowl 2019, Grammy Awards and cooking for President Trump to name a few. Prior to those endeavors, Xan spent time as a Culinary Instructor for high schools and colleges, where she was able to compete in state and national culinary competition and won several metals. She loves working with students that have the same passion for Culinary as she does.
Xan started her career in hospitality right out of high school, she has always loved the industry and has served in many roles, everything from being a hostess, to bartending, waiting tables and managing several restaurants in Alabama where she grew up. Xan moved to Atlanta to attend Le Cordon Bleu where she graduated second in her class. Xan went on to be the Pastry Chef for Emeril Lagasse here in Atlanta.
Xan loves to play golf, tennis and travel. Her passion is her work and she is so excited to start her new role and to meet our Members!
